Black Clover Pixel shows you a character's portrait so heavily blurred and zoomed that it is little more than coloured shapes. Each wrong guess sharpens the image a step, until by the last attempt the portrait is fully clear. The earlier you guess the Black Clover character, the better your result.

It is a daily puzzle with Easy and Hard modes. Easy uses the characters anime fans see most, such as the Black Bulls, the headline captains and the major villains, and Hard covers everyone else in the roster. Each mode has its own daily answer, streak and leaderboard.

How to Play Black Clover Pixel

Look at the blurred portrait, type two letters or more of a name and choose from the suggestions. You have six attempts. The blur starts at forty pixels and drops by eight with each miss, and the zoom relaxes once the picture is sharp, so after five wrong answers your last guess is made on a clear image.

Dots under the image track how many attempts you have used, and a label shows the current blur. Wrong answers are listed so you do not try them twice. You can also give up to reveal the answer immediately.

The portraits change at midnight UTC. A reload keeps your progress and timer, and signed-in players who solve the puzzle are ranked on the day's board by attempts and time.

How to Recognise a Blurred Portrait

Colour is the first clue to survive the blur. Silver hair points toward House Silva, bright red toward the Vermillions, black hair toward characters like Yami, and a squad robe's colour can hint at the squad itself. Note the dominant colours before you guess.

Next, look at the shape of the head and hair. Asta's spiky crown, Noelle's long twin tails and Luck's short messy hair each have a distinctive outline even at heavy blur. Headwear, horns and large collars are also easy to spot.

Use early guesses to test colour groups. If you think the portrait is a Vermillion, guessing the most likely one either wins or leaves only a few red-haired candidates, and the next sharper image usually settles which one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it pixel art or a blur?

The portrait is blurred and zoomed rather than pixelated. It becomes sharper with every wrong guess.

How many attempts do I have?

Six. After five misses the image is fully clear for your final guess.

Which characters can appear?

Any character in the roster who has a portrait. Easy mode is limited to well-known characters; Hard includes the deeper cast.

Is the answer the same for everyone?

Yes. Each mode has one shared answer per day, which resets at midnight UTC.

Can I keep a streak?

Yes. Solving the daily in a mode extends that mode's streak, and the win screen shows your current and best streak.
