Black Clover Higher or Lower is a two-minute power-ranking test. Two cards sit side by side: the left one shows a character and their magic power, the right one shows a second character with the number hidden. All you have to decide is whether the newcomer is stronger or weaker. It sounds simple until a captain, a devil host and a Diamond Kingdom general come up back to back.

Every character in the roster has a power figure on a six-digit scale, from low-ranking devils and civilians near the bottom to the rulers of the underworld at the top. That makes this one of the quickest black clover games online for settling arguments about who would win, and a daily leaderboard shows how your read on the series compares with everyone else's.

How to Play Black Clover Higher or Lower

Press Higher if you think the second character has more power than the first, or Lower if you think they have less. A correct call reveals the number, adds a point and slides the new character into the left slot with a fresh challenger on the right. If the two figures happen to be equal, either answer counts. Characters are not repeated until the whole pool has been used.

The daily run has a single two-minute clock. The first wrong answer triggers your spare life if you still have it: the clock pauses, and you can continue the same run with a new pair. You can instead save that life to start a second daily run later. After the daily is finished, two Classic runs unlock with no clock and one extra life each; they count towards your stats and experience but not the daily board.

Your score sets your rank, which climbs from Rookie through Apprentice, Expert, Elite and Champion up to Legend and finally The Strongest at 47 correct answers. The result poster shows your final score, a countdown to the next daily and the day's leaderboard.

Tips for Longer Streaks

Think in tiers rather than exact numbers. Devils, Wizard Kings and the Dark Triad tend to sit at the top, squad captains and the Third Eye just below, then vice captains, senior and intermediate Magic Knights, and finally juniors, healers and civilians. When a top-tier card is on the left, Lower is right far more often than not, and the reverse is true for a junior.

Watch the affiliation line under each name. A Black Bulls junior can still outrank a veteran from a quieter squad, because the numbers reflect how strong characters become by the later arcs, not how they started. Asta and Yuno are good examples: rookies by rank, but near the top on power.

Do not rush the middle. Close calls cluster around the captains and vice captains, and two minutes is longer than it feels. A second of thought on a Silver Eagles vice captain against a Coral Peacocks captain costs less than a broken run.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do the power numbers come from?

They are this site's own estimates of each character's magic power across the whole series, on a six-digit scale. They are fan rankings, not official statistics.

How many runs can I play a day?

One daily run with a two-minute clock, plus one spare life that can either rescue that run or start a second one. After that you get two untimed Classic runs.

What happens when both characters have the same power?

Ties count as a correct answer whichever button you press.

Does Classic mode count for the leaderboard?

No. Only daily runs are ranked. Classic runs still add to your stats, experience and challenges.

Is Black Clover Higher or Lower free?

Yes, it is free in the browser with no download. An account is only needed to appear on the daily leaderboard and sync progress.
