Guess the Quote

Guess the Quote puts a single line on the screen and asks who said it. The lines are written in each character's voice, from speeches about surpassing limits to cold remarks from a villain or a noble's pride about their house. If you know how Yami, Noelle, Licht or Mereoleona talk, you have a head start on this Black Clover quiz.

There is one quote per day for all players, four attempts and a streak to protect. It is one of the shortest black clover games online on the site, but a good test of whether you remember characters by personality rather than by portrait.

Read the quote, then type a character's name. The field suggests matches as you type, and Enter picks the top one. A correct name wins; a wrong one is crossed off below the quote and you continue with one fewer attempt, up to four in total.

Every quote has a hint behind the Show hint link, a short description of the speaker such as their squad or title. You can open it at any time while the puzzle is live.

After you solve it, run out of attempts or give up, the speaker is revealed with their portrait. Solving extends your daily streak, and signed-in players are ranked by attempts and time. A new quote arrives at midnight UTC.

Listen for the character's core drive. Talk about never giving up or becoming Wizard King points to the Hage Village rivals; talk of nobility and strength to the Vermillion family; a calm, fascinated tone about magic to Julius; a grudge against humans or the Clover Kingdom to the elves or the Spade Kingdom's villains.

Use the way they speak to their allies. Captains tend to address their squads, so a line about what the Black Bulls do or do not do narrows things to Black Bulls members, while a line about protecting a squad often belongs to its captain.

If you are split between two names, open the hint before your second attempt rather than after. It rarely gives the answer away outright, but a squad or title is usually enough to choose between two candidates.
