Ability Guessr plays a short clip of a spell in action and asks two questions: who is casting it, and what is it called? Black Clover is built on grimoires and magic attributes, and many of the series' best moments are named attacks, so this game tests whether you remember the magic as well as the mages.

There is one clip per day for everyone. You need both halves correct in the same guess, and you have three tries, so it is one of the more demanding Black Clover quiz games on the site.

Watch the looping clip at the top of the page. In the Character field, type two letters or more of a name and pick from the suggestions. In the Ability field, choose a name from the dropdown, which lists every ability in the game. Press Submit Guess when both are filled.

Each attempt is recorded with a mark for the character and a mark for the ability, so you can see if you got one half right. You win when both are correct in the same attempt. After three attempts, or if you give up, the correct caster and ability are revealed.

The clip changes at midnight UTC. Solving it builds your daily streak, the timer records how long you took, and signed-in players appear on the daily leaderboard.

Identify the attribute before the caster. The colour and shape of the magic narrow things quickly: black anti-magic slashes, green wind, crackling lightning, mirrors, cotton, trees or pure darkness each belong to only a few characters.

Use a partially correct result. If the character mark is right but the ability is wrong, keep the caster and choose another of their named attacks. Several characters have more than one move in the pool, so a correct character does not mean the ability is obvious.

When in doubt about the name, think of how the anime presents it: attacks are often named after the attribute plus a style, such as a slash, a rain or a mode. Picking the ability whose words match what you saw is a better second guess than changing everything.
